The Makana is a comfortable 32’ custom-built catamaran, offering a smooth ride on a premium Kauaʻi boat tour along the Na Pali Coast. Designed with spacious seating, this vessel provides a relaxed and enjoyable journey for snorkeling along the iconic Kauaʻi coastline and viewing sea caves. For your safety and comfort, we carry no more than 12 passengers, allowing plenty of room to stretch out and take in panoramic views of the Na Pali Coast sea caves. Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
Yes. To book a private charter or a shared charter, simply purchase one standard ticket for a charter up to 12 people. Trips often sell out so we suggest purchasing your ticket early to guarantee your desired tour day. You can reserve your tickets either Online or may call us at (808) 338-9980.

What happens if it rains?
Our trips usually run in moderate weather conditions. In the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions, ticket-holders will be contacted and allowed to reschedule tickets (subject to availability), receive credit for a future event, or receive a full refund.

Is this tour good for all ages?
Yes, in general this tour is appropriate for all ages. We can accommodate most ages, even babies during the summer since the sea conditions are so calm. During the winter, we aren’t as accommodating for children 2 and under being that the sea conditions are a little different on some days. You may want to check in to see how the weather and condition during the winter.

Cancellation Policy

All customers will receive a FULL REFUND when canceling prior to the following timeframes. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required for parties of 6 or less. A 72-hour cancellation notice is required for parties of 7 to 10. A 96-hour cancellation notice is required for parties of 11+ and, a 168-hour (1 week) cancellation notice for ALL private charters. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price and there will be NO REFUNDS for last minute cancellations (NO EXCEPTIONS). This includes any last minute illnesses, injuries, etc. If you don't show up, or want to reschedule at the last minute, a rebooking fee will be applied. We will charge half the cost of your original reservation to reschedule or rebook.
